Winter Series Rd 8 Report

Well what a suprise the weather man got it wrong again, we woke up to a wet/damp track. This was the last of the 8 Round Series which has kept to the same amount of people apart from Rd 7 where we had some welcome visitors from Bedworth. Todays meeting was started at 10am with 5 rounds and 2 Finals like the rest of the Series.
Some good qualifying took place, a few people missed the first 2 Rounds to let the track dry. The track dried by noon which meant times started to improved and provided some really close and enjoyable racing.
Lets hope next weeks meeting which is the start of our Summer Series (Also the last chance to get any track time prior to our Clubmans because the weekend before our Clubmans is Bedworths Summer Series and a lot of Stafford Members will be going there so the Stafford Track is Closed).

The good news is that we are running outside on Thursday 21-4-16 due to our indoor venue being booked.
